We had a commencement last week. The final big day!
The weather was perfect—no rain, no wind, and absolutely no shade!
Too hot!
We were supposed to arrive at the location by 11:30, and the ceremony started around noon. I felt like I was going to pass out from the heat.
Someone in the line said, “They don’t even give us a bottle of water on our last day.”
Well, but they prepared emergency stretchers! I guess passing out was part of the plan.
